Description

The DECOY Caro Wire WL-06 is a short-type wire built for the three-point Carolina rig, a search rig Katsuichi credits with strong snag resistance and high sensitivity for both bank and boat fishing. It uses a 7×7 stainless wire (rated #47, 7×7=49 braided) that cuts through weed easily and resists abrasion against structure, and its no-stretch construction keeps sensitivity high.

Its short length suits boat fishing and smaller venues, and Katsuichi also lists it for saltwater surf applications such as flounder fishing. The sinker-first flight attitude helps long casts without the leader tangling, and the snap is designed to resist picking up algae. This is the 8cm size, with a #4×5 swivel at the top and a #5 swivel underneath.
