Description

The Daysprout Mut 0.9g is a micro trout spoon developed under the supervision of Makoto Uchida, measuring 20mm and weighing 0.9g. Daysprout positions it as a new take on the micro-spoon concept, deliberately going lighter than expected for a lure aimed at trout in the period soon after stocking.

It's designed to work stocked trout from shortly after release through to the end of a session, when fish grow more selective and reluctant to bite. The small silhouette and the sound of the lure dropping through the water are built to draw attention, and it can be fished with varied retrieves — including winding it up and down — to show the lure slowly at short range and tempt a strike from wary fish.
