Description
The Daysprout Mesh 2.5g is the largest size in the Mesh line, known among anglers as "Deka Mesh" (big Mesh). At 32 mm and 2.5g it's built for distance, giving Kazuhiko Kameyama's slim, current-reading silhouette real casting range without losing the slow, wake-forming action the smaller sizes are known for.
Kameyama's preferred approach is a tension fall fished on a raised rod tip, letting the lure swim upright through the water column rather than tumbling flat. Like the rest of the line it's most effective once trout have settled after stocking, and the slim shape keeps drawing follow-up strikes from fish that have already refused something else.
