Description
SNECON 220S (スネコン220S) is a sinking pencil from BlueBlue built with through-wire construction for fighting large fish. Its internal weight balls are free-floating rather than fixed, so even slight wave movement changes the action.
Unlike sinking pencils that ride tail-down, the SNECON holds a near-horizontal posture: a straight retrieve produces a wide S-curve just under the surface, working the top 20cm of water, while stop-and-go retrieves trigger a sharp sideways slide. Jerked, it darts and thrashes side to side at the surface like a fleeing baitfish, throwing spray. The 220mm, 145g body uses a weight-transfer system for long casts from shore or boat. Rigged with a #9 ring and #4/0 hook.
