Description
FlyHatchHF (フライハッチHF) is Bassday's high-floating area trout minnow, designed so anyone can imitate aquatic insects hatching off the surface.
At 55mm it's a touch larger than typical hatch-pattern lures, giving it the casting distance to reach fish holding further out. The basic technique is a repeated wind-and-pause "grip stop": the lure dives relatively deep for its size while flashing on the fall, then rises vertically under light line tension (rather than free-lining) to mimic the timing of a natural hatch — fish often strike just before it breaks the surface. It also works with a fast, erratic "warp action" dart to trigger reflex strikes outside of hatch season.
