Description

APIA TOUGHNESS SPIRAL CODE (タフネススパイラルコード) is a Kevlar-cored coiled safety cord from Apia's accessory line, built to stop game-vest gear from being lost overboard and to double as a stern line (尻手ロープ) for boat fishing.

The cord core and coil are Kevlar, chosen for abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance, and the end fitting is a stainless carabiner made by Mizumoto Machinery Manufacturing (水本機械製作所), a marine-hardware supplier. Apia's page states a body breaking strength of 70kg.

This is the SL (Super Long) length: 250mm coiled, extending to 2300mm at maximum stretch.
