How it fishes

The 6.2:1 gear ratio, giving 78cm per handle turn, suits a steady retrieve back through the strike zone, with the drag set to a maximum of 9kg to protect line on the initial run of a hooked fish. Adjust the exact retrieve speed and pause length to match water temperature and how actively fish are feeding on the day.
