Abu Garcia NAMAZU HUNTER (ナマズハンター) is a freshwater rod series built for catfish (namazu), able to stand up to monster-class fish thanks to Fuji all-double-foot guides throughout.

The NAHC-662M is built for cast accuracy and lure control, suited to narrow waterways and close-range spots that demand precision, best matched with lures under 1oz. The NAHC-682MH is built for distance and cover-busting power, its 6'8" length keeping close-range casting accuracy while adding long-range reach and a strong butt section for fighting through tangled cover.

Both carry a Fuji SiC top guide, a Fuji TCS reel seat for stability with round reels, and double wrapping on every guide.

The 662M suits narrow waterways and close-range precision casting with lures under 1oz, while the 682MH adds distance and cover-busting power while keeping close-range accuracy, both fished with a steady retrieve and a firm, immediate hook-set. Adjust the exact retrieve speed and pause length to match water temperature and how actively fish are feeding on the day.
