Description

Limbooo!! (リンボー!!) is Zappu's stick bait, built to work across any field or rig. Deeply cut ribs on a slightly thick silhouette give it presence while still gripping the water firmly for a strong wave action.

The body uses Zappu's "SAF material", blending salt (for high specific gravity), amino acids (an attractant effect), and a flavour formula, aimed at good castability, strong wave action, and long bite-holding. It suits no-sinker, Texas, and free-rig presentations on an offset hook, and the maker particularly recommends it for inch-wacky, no-sinker wacky, and neko rig, where it kicks hard on the fall.

The swimming action

A stick bait with deeply cut ribs on a slightly thick body, giving more presence and displacement than the 3in size while still gripping the water firmly. It kicks hard on the fall, particularly on a wacky or neko rig.

When to throw it

Any bass water and any rig: no-sinker, Texas or free-rig in open water and around cover, and inch-wacky, no-sinker wacky or neko rig for a hard-kicking fall.

How to work it

Let it fall on slack line for the wacky or neko kick, or work it with a slow twitch-and-pause on a Texas or no-sinker rig; the salt-and-amino blend is built for long bite-holding once a fish commits.

The setup it likes

Suits a medium spinning or baitcasting rod, 10-14 lb fluorocarbon or braid to a fluorocarbon leader, matched to an offset hook sized to the rig.
