Description

ValkeIN KuGa FFS is a high-speed-specialist model built to trigger trout that won't respond to a slow approach. It takes the flat body of the FMR further, refining it into an ultra-thin, purpose-built shape with a distinctive back line that stays stable even on fast retrieves, opening up a dedicated high-speed method within the KuGa range.

Category: Crankbait, Sinking. Effective diving depth is around 80cm (the sinking design allows deeper reach as needed). This listing stocks the 1.8g / 28mm size, ring #0, matched to Gyro Hook Ride #7.

Information

The swimming action

KuGa FFS is a high-speed-specialist model built to trigger trout that won't respond to a slow approach. It takes the flat body of the FMR further, refining it into an ultra-thin, purpose-built shape with a distinctive back line that stays stable even on fast retrieves. This 1.8g, 28 mm sinking size runs a #0 ring matched to a Gyro Hook Ride #7.

When to throw it

Reach for it when trout are actively chasing and a fast, reaction-style retrieve outperforms a slow presentation, opening up a dedicated high-speed method within the KuGa range.

How to work it

Effective diving depth is around 80 cm, with the sinking design allowing deeper reach as needed. Retrieve it fast and steady to keep the ultra-thin body stable and get the most from its high-speed action.

The setup it likes

A light-to-medium area-trout spinning rod (L–ML), 1500–2000 size reel, 2–4 lb main line and a matching fluorocarbon leader suit the fast retrieves this model is built for.
