Built on a minnow-based hybrid body, it covers everything from slow, feeding bites to fast, reaction-triggering retrieves.

Category: Crankbait, Floating. Effective diving depth is around 60cm, tracing the surface-to-mid layer with a stable, natural swim from slow to fast retrieves. This listing stocks the 2.1g / 36mm size, ring #0, matched to Gyro Hook Ride #6.

Information

The swimming action

KuGa is the long-running, benchmark model of the ValkeIN range: a strong, wide wobble that pulls fish in even on a slow retrieve, with stability that holds up on fast retrieves. Built on a minnow-based hybrid body, this 2.1g, 36 mm floating size runs a #0 ring matched to a Gyro Hook Ride #6.

When to throw it

A genuine do-it-all crankbait, covering everything from slow, feeding bites to fast, reaction-triggering retrieves — a sound first choice when starting a session or unsure what pace fish want.

How to work it

Effective diving depth is around 60 cm, tracing the surface-to-mid layer with a stable, natural swim from slow to fast retrieves; the handling keeps the bait exactly in the target zone through a retrieve.

The setup it likes

A light area-trout spinning rod (UL–L), 1000–2000 size reel, 2–3 lb main line and a matching fluorocarbon leader suit this shallow crankbait's casting weight.
