Description
The Timon Deka Bung 1.0g is a 12.5 mm two-layer resin-and-zinc disc spoon built for the vertical "tate-zuri" style of area-trout fishing. The differing density of the resin body and metal weight keeps the weighted side down through the fall, giving a stable, level sink rather than an erratic wobble, and the symmetric shape lets it be rigged from either the front or rear eye with a #8 hook.
It's designed to be worked with rod-driven lift-and-fall retrieves, with bites often showing up as a change in the line rather than a knock through the tip. This 1.0g size shares its 12.5 mm body diameter with the 1.3g Deka Bung, giving a slower fall speed to choose between depending on how the fish are responding.
