Description

The Smith Hikaru Koika-chan (「HIKARU! KOIKACHAN」) is a small sinking plug measuring 24 mm and weighing 0.6 g, fitted with a single Van Hook SP-11F #10 on a black #0 split ring. It is built around a squid-inspired body shape, with a nose rig position set back from the tip so it can be fished as a slow-rolled micro swimbait, spun like a spinner, or fluttered down like a nose-weighted bait, and a swappable front/rear line-tie lets it switch between a spin mode and a slalom mode.

Each colourway carries an internal glow ball that charges under sunlight or artificial light and glows for an extended period underwater, aimed at drawing the interest of trout. The range takes its names and colours from squid dishes and squid itself, released by Smith in August 2026.

When does my order leave Japan?

Orders are packed in Japan and handed to Japan Post within 3 to 5 business days. You get a tracking number by email the moment it ships.
