Description

The 33-DB Double Barb is a single-point assist hook from Shout, developed with input from Japanese jigging boat captains for close-range coastal jigging. It uses a long-taper hook point with a small double barb for improved penetration and holding power over a standard single barb, and drops the usual eyelet ring in favour of a hammerhead press ("shumoku") head to save weight.

Finished in silver and offered here in sizes 1/0 through 5/0, it is built as a dedicated assist hook for near-shore jigging where fast, low-resistance hook penetration and reduced fish-off rates matter.
