The CALCUTTA CONQUEST DC is Shimano's round cold-forged, high-rigidity DC-brake baitcasting reel. Micro Module Gear, Infinity Drive and Silent Drive combine for a powerful, smooth retrieve, while the Magnum Light Spool IV and latest I-DC5 brake (15 settings: 3-mode L/M/H dial x 5-stage brake dial) extend casting distance and control low-trajectory, pinpoint casts.

The 200PG gearing is Shimano's dedicated power-gear spec, built for stable retrieve feel with high-resistance lures such as magnum crankbaits, Alabama rigs and large swimbaits — reassuring, per Shimano, when targeting big bass with heavy-gauge hooks.
