Description

The Ryugi HHP088 Heavy Weighted Pierce is the heavy-weight version of the Weighted Pierce, built to fish a stage deeper in the water column with a faster sink rate for efficient deep-range coverage. It carries over the standard model's sinker position and shape for a balanced swim posture and reduced snagging on weed and cover, and uses the Pierce Hook TC — noted for reliable swimming performance — finished with TC coating. Sizes run 3/0 (1/16oz / 1.8g), 4/0 (3/32oz / 2.7g), 5/0 (1/8oz / 3.5g) and 5/0+, all in TC Black.

It's suited to natural swimming retrieves with shad-tail worms and stick baits, and to falling presentations with flat-side worms worked through deeper areas. At the moment of the strike, the hook shifts the worm to expose the point fully, delivering a strong hookset on bites that matter.
