The Zigzag Bait 60S is Pozidrive Garage's downsized 60mm rendition of its original 80mm Zigzag Bait, concentrating the same S-shaped zigzag swimming action into a smaller, 11g sinking body. A weight-transfer casting system keeps castability strong despite the compact size.

It covers the full slow-to-fast retrieve range typical of the Zigzag Bait series, tracing a tight S-swim on a straight retrieve or breaking into sharp, panicked darting action under active rod work, fishing a 20-60cm depth range. Supplied with #6 trebles and a #4 split ring.

The swimming action

The Zigzag Bait 60S carries a tight, repeating S-shaped swim on a straight retrieve, and breaks into a sharper, more erratic dart when worked with rod strokes. The weight-transfer casting system keeps it stable in flight and puts it working immediately on landing.

When to throw it

Suited to typical seabass structure fishing — river mouths, harbour walls and current seams — where a shallow presentation in the top 20–60cm works. Effective in low light and around structure holding baitfish.

How to work it

Fish it on a slow-to-medium straight retrieve for the tight S-swim, or add sharp rod jerks to trigger the more erratic zigzag dash. Pause briefly after a series of jerks to let the sinking body settle before continuing.

The setup it likes

A light-to-medium seabass spinning rod (ML, 7–8ft) with a 2500 reel, 8lb braid and a 12–16lb fluorocarbon leader suits this size well.
