Description

KIT is a compact double-blade spinnerbait from PAYFORWARD (Pay Forward), built around a patented blade with triangular perforations that keep it spinning with minimal effort, even on a slow retrieve; blade thickness is tuned front-to-back for a balanced rotation ratio. A low-center-of-gravity head improves bottom sensitivity and keeps the bait from tilting off-axis on the retrieve, and a hook-style wire keeper holds the trailer securely without deforming it.

This is the 1/2oz (14g), Double Willow (DW) blade configuration. This listing stocks the Citrus Chart (#013) colourway.

The swimming action

A compact tandem-blade spinnerbait that thumps through the water on a steady retrieve, with blades that flash and vibrate to draw fish from a distance.

When to throw it

Suited to stained or coloured water and around cover such as timber, grass and rock where bass rely on vibration and flash to locate prey.

How to work it

Cast past the target and retrieve steadily just fast enough to keep the blades turning, slowing or bumping it off cover to trigger a reaction strike.

The setup it likes

A medium-heavy baitcasting rod, a 6.3:1-7:1 reel, and 14-17 lb fluorocarbon or 30-50 lb braid with a short fluorocarbon leader for working cover.
