Description

The TFS-3 Shinobi Assist Tachi Shiwari is a silent-tuned assist hook built for wary, light-tackle tachiuo (beltfish/hairtail) jigging. A sound-deadening tube on the snap shuts out the clatter of split rings and metal jigs knocking together, while a clear fluorocarbon assist line reduces visibility to the fish; Owner specifies a thick fluorocarbon chosen to resist fraying from the fish's teeth.

The assist swivels freely to suit different bite styles, and a glow tube bite marker sits at the join to help draw strikes. Owner notes this hook is intended specifically for light-tackle tachiuo jigging. It is offered here in sizes #16 and #18.
