Description

The Owner B-79 Guard Wakizashi takes the brand's slim Wakizashi wacky hook shape and fits it with a simple wire weed guard, so it keeps the exposed-point wacky-rig hook-up rate while surviving light weed and cover that would otherwise cause constant snagging. Owner's own product notes state that threading a soft bead onto the point before it sits under the guard increases the guard's tension for extra protection.

It is built for wacky-rigged soft plastics fished around light weed and cover where a bare-point wacky hook would foul, giving anglers a wider range of usable water without giving up the simplicity of the standard Wakizashi profile. Available in sizes 4, 2, 1 and 1/0.
