The Owner RB-3 (リングシングルテイル) Ring Single Tail is a 1.5in soft-plastic worm from the Owner Tasty Worm Rock'n Bait line, flavoured with Owner's original scent formula and shaped to imitate crustaceans, best paired with a small jig head. A single curl tail kicks steadily on the fall and retrieve, and the body carries Owner's own scent formula to encourage fish to hold on longer once they strike.

When to throw it

A crustacean-imitating worm suited to structure and rock-strewn ground for ainame, mebaru, soi, kasago, hirame, rockfish and seabass, and equally at home on largemouth and smallmouth bass or bluegill in freshwater.

How to work it

Fish it on a small jig head with a slow lift-and-fall or gentle twitches along the bottom, pausing to let the tail continue kicking and the scent do its work.

The setup it likes

Suits a 6-7ft L rock/finesse rod, a 2000-2500 reel, PE0.3-0.6 braid and a 2-4lb leader with a light jig head sized to the depth.
