Description

The Invicta Kurodai MB Monster Spec is a non-drag hechi reel from Nissin's Invicta Kurodai series, built for large black sea bream (kurodai) on Japan's pier and wall fishing grounds. The 90mm aluminium machine-cut body carries a matte black finish, a large shallow spool (65mm inner diameter) that reduces line twist and memory versus a standard spool, and a switchable spool anti-rotation stopper carried over from the well-regarded MB Limited.

A large EVA double-handle grip gives extra leverage when a big fish takes line, and the reel runs on 2 ball bearings with a 100m capacity of Go.3 line. It suits hechi and otoshikomi (drop-fishing) styles for oversized kurodai.
