The Daiwa 24STEEZ SV TW (24スティーズ SV TW) is a third-generation STEEZ SV TW built around a φ32mm SV BOOST spool, the first Daiwa reel series to adopt this smaller spool diameter, giving a 15% reduction in inertia versus the previous 16 STEEZ SV TW. MAGFORCE alone controls spool rotation for non-contact, brakeless-style braking, and the reel is finished in G1 duralumin. It is rated for salt-water use.

The third-generation STEEZ SV TW runs a smaller 32mm SV BOOST spool, cutting rotational inertia by around 15% against the previous 16 STEEZ SV TW, so it spins up and slows through a cast with very little felt resistance.

What it's built for

A tournament-grade bass casting reel for anglers who want maximum control over a wide range of lure weights without touching a mechanical brake dial between casts.

How it fishes

MAGFORCE alone manages spool speed through the cast in a non-contact, brakeless-feeling way, so light lures cast accurately at distance and heavier lures stay controlled just as cleanly, with G1 duralumin construction rated for salt-water use.

Spools and spares

Match to a fast to extra-fast bass baitcasting rod, 12-20lb fluorocarbon or 30-50lb braid with a fluorocarbon leader, for finesse to medium-power bass presentations.
