The swimming action

The tadpole-shaped hard/soft hybrid body rolls and undulates on a steady retrieve, and the detachable elastomer tail adds extra kick that a plastic-only wake bait cannot produce.

When to throw it

Suited to warm, calm water over weed edges, docks and shallow flats where panfish and bass sit high in the water column, particularly in low light or overcast conditions.

How to work it

Work it on a slow, steady wind just under the surface, pausing over likely holding spots to let the tail continue kicking before winding on.
