The 230g is the heaviest Swim Rider carried here, built on the same centre-balanced, left-right asymmetrical shape as the rest of the range, in iron with stainless steel hardware. The extra weight adds casting distance and gets the jig down through deeper water or a stronger current while keeping the same slower, horizontal fall that iron gives over an equivalent lead jig.

That asymmetrical form is what drives the Swim Rider's signature slide-and-pause action on the retrieve, letting the jig cover water quickly between pauses without heavy-handed rod work. At 230g it suits deeper drops or faster-moving water where a lighter jig in the range would struggle to hold position.
