Description

Mizer BS-PRO is a 2.6in soft plastic tail bait for ajing, targeting aji (Japanese horse mackerel), packed 8 per colourway. The ribbed body adds drag resistance and presence, and a dedicated hook-insertion point keeps rigging quick, with a high hooking rate and good resistance to slipping down the hook shank.

Colourways span Glow (G), Non-glow (N) and UV finishes; this listing stocks all 13 of them.

A ribbed soft-plastic tail bait built for ajing, with body ribs that add drag resistance and presence in the water and a dedicated hook-insertion point that keeps the plastic from slipping down the hook shank.

When to throw it

Aji fishing after dark around lit piers, harbour walls and breakwaters, where a small, natural-sinking bait fished slowly in the upper and mid water column draws steady bites.

How to work it

Fish it on a jig head with a slow, controlled fall or a straight retrieve under a float rig; small pauses on the drop let the ribbed body show its resistance and often draw the take.

A 6'-7'6" light ajing rod rated to around 1-3g jig heads, a 1000-2000 spinning reel, 0.3-0.4 PE braid or 2-3lb fluorocarbon suit the light presentation this bait is built for.
