Description

UK SHADWORM is a 3.5 inch soft-plastic shad from Marujin, designed to get even wary, heavily-pressured seabass to chase and strike on a rear-wave tail action.

The jighead sits fully enclosed inside the body for a natural, unobtrusive presence, and the tail is shaped around rear-wave motion to eliminate the flutter typical of a standard shad tail — a simple straight retrieve is enough to fish it effectively. The body is soft material throughout, and the head design allows quick attachment and colour changes without losing the worm off the hook. The matching jighead is sold separately as the UK Jighead.

A soft-plastic shad with the jighead fully enclosed inside the body, using a rear-wave tail shape that eliminates the flutter typical of a standard shad tail while still moving fish on a plain retrieve.

When to throw it

Suited to wary, heavily-pressured seabass that have seen standard shad presentations and need a more natural, unobtrusive profile to commit.

How to work it

A simple straight retrieve is enough to fish it effectively; the enclosed jighead and rear-wave tail do the work without added rod action.

The setup it likes

A 7-8ft light to medium-light seabass spinning rod with a 2500 reel, 6-10 lb braid and a 10-14 lb fluorocarbon leader.
