When to throw it

Suited to flipping into weed and cover for bass, and effective as a summer insect-pattern bait fished weightless; also draws bites from chinu (black seabream), kibire and rockfish around structure.

How to work it

Best on a Texas rig through cover, as a rubber jig trailer, or on a dropshot rig; the raised-arm posture alone can trigger aggressive sight-fishing bites with little to no movement needed.
