Description

誉 100F (Homare 100F) is ima's first minnow dedicated to ayu (鮎) fishing. High buoyancy and a tight wobble-roll action give it strong basic performance for crossing fast water.

It works with both standard ayu lure-fishing technique and cast-and-retrieve.

Length 100mm, weight 12.5g, floating, dive range 0-50cm, rigged with a #7 ayu-specific hook and #1 ring. Main target: ayu (鮎). Released May 2024.

Homare 100F is ima's first ayu-dedicated minnow, giving a tight wobble-roll with strong buoyancy built to cross fast water without losing its swim.

When to throw it

Purpose-built for ayu fishing in fast-flowing rivers, running the 0-50cm zone where ayu hold and defend territory.

How to work it

Works with standard ayu lure technique, letting the current load the bait, as well as a conventional cast-and-retrieve across faster runs.

The setup it likes

Suits a dedicated ayu lure rod, small spinning reel, PE 0.4-0.6 mainline and a short fluorocarbon leader.

How is it priced?

When does my order leave Japan?
