Description

The Standard Treble S-SP XH (item code 68-984) is the heavy-duty size step in Gamakatsu's Standard Treble S-SP series, built from standard-grade high-carbon steel wire with the same Hyper Shield rust-resistant plating used across the S-SP range. It's the only S-SP size fitted with Gamakatsu's design-registered "Magic Eye", where part of the line eye is pressed thin to make fitting and removing split rings easier. Sizes run from 1/0 to 6/0, with wire diameter increasing from 2.00mm to 2.77mm across that range.

Gamakatsu lists it for mahi-mahi, skipjack (bonito), buri (yellowtail), hiramasa (Japanese amberjack), GT (giant trevally), tuna and other large gamefish.
