Description

The Madai Sniper Type R is a double assist hook from Gamakatsu's Assist Hook range, purpose-designed for madai (red seabream) jigging and intended for rear (リア) placement on the jig. It is item code GA-032, rated for PE15 line, supplied two to a pack, and made for use with tungsten jigs and ultra-compact silhouette jigs.

Gamakatsu designed it specifically around the hook-setting challenges of tungsten and micro-silhouette jigs, balancing stability through the jerk, trouble-free clearance on the fall, and confident hook-up on a straight retrieve. Available in sizes 2, 1 and 1/0.
