Description

The Long Sniper is a Xylon-spec assist hook built around Gamakatsu's lightweight, easy-hooking Jigging Hook Vertical Limit, with an assist line length designed for semi-long to long jigs. This 5/0 version carries a 30-gou Xylon assist line at 65mm, chosen for the sharp-toothed species tachiuo (beltfish) fishing often demands.

A taut assist line paired with a heat-shrink tube helps stop the line wrapping around the jig on the drop, keeping the hook presented cleanly through the fall. It is intended for offshore jigging and casting.
