ZAMSリリック (ZAMS LYRIC) is a slim-profile metal jig from Fujiwara, effective when fish are feeding on slender, small-silhouette baitfish such as kibinago and anchovy.

Built for shallow areas that are difficult to work with a standard jig, including tidal flats, river mouths and surf. The slim body slips easily through seaweed and readily telegraphs current and tide; a strong tail-shaking action makes it effective for daytime fishing, and assist hooks front and rear are recommended. Targets flounder and seabass.

The swimming action

A slim-profile metal jig with a strong tail-shaking action, built to slip easily through weed and readily telegraph current and tide changes back through the rod and line to the angler's hand.

When to throw it

Suited to shallow areas that are hard to work with a standard jig -- tidal flats, river mouths and surf -- when fish are feeding on slender baitfish such as kibinago and anchovy.

How to work it

A steady daytime retrieve with front and rear assist hooks fitted is the recommended setup; work it just off the bottom through skinny water rather than as a deep vertical jig.

The setup it likes

Pairs with a light shore-jigging rod (M power, PE0.8-1.5 rating), a 3000-4000 size spinning reel and PE line with an 18-25 lb fluorocarbon leader for abrasion resistance around structure and weed.
