Evergreen Wide Seeker

The Wide Seeker is Evergreen's ultra-wide-range, heavy-duty big minnow – developed as a longer-casting, tougher-built derivative of the Stream Seeker. Where the Stream Seeker runs an even 5:5 wobble-to-roll action, the Wide Seeker is tuned to a 3:7 wobble-to-roll ratio so water resistance on the lip clears more smoothly, and it runs at a slightly deeper diving range. A double tungsten-ball magnetic weight-transfer system is paired with a consistent-width, semi-long round lip and a single-wire through-construction linking the line eye and both hook eyes, built to resist the eyes deforming or hooks pulling out on extra-large fish.

It floats at 14.5cm and 28.5g, running 0.7–0.9m deep on front #5 / rear #5 hook-eye rings with #2/#2 trebles. Evergreen designed it for ultra-high-speed water – fast downstream drift at a river mouth on the outgoing tide, or white water off exposed rocky shorelines – where it's set up to hold its course and range without unnecessary thrashing or riding up, aimed at lunker seabass and other large species sharing that water.
