Description
The Evergreen Otter Crawler is a jointed double-wing topwater bait produced by Yasunao Hondo with development supervised by Toshifumi Kikumoto. It measures 11.5cm and sits in the 2oz weight class as a floating lure, built around duralumin wings, a double-joint body and a V-shaped metal blade that combine for a layered soundtrack of wing-slap, metallic rasp and blade chatter on the retrieve.
Designed to pull big bass from distance with its wide wing action and surface disturbance, the Otter Crawler stays responsive from a dead-slow crawl through to a fast retrieve without the walking action breaking down. Evergreen recommends a medium-heavy to heavy baitcasting rod paired with 16-20lb line to fish it properly.
