Evergreen Corsair 50

コルセア50 (Corsair 50) is a 50mm, 3.3g sinking pencil built around a distinctive fat-tail shape — fat when viewed from above or below, slim from the side — that pairs strong casting distance with a responsive, tight tail-swing action and a natural vibration. A low-center-of-gravity molded weight at the bottom of the body further sharpens the action response and adds buoyancy.

Main targets are mebaru (rockfish) and aji (Japanese horse mackerel), fished in the 10-50cm range with a basic retrieve of about one handle turn per second. Recommended tackle is a 6-8ft light game rod with PE 0.2-0.4 and 4-8lb fluorocarbon, worked from breakwaters, rocky shorelines and surf.
