The La Tour FLAT is a world-standard system jerkbait from Duel's HARDCORE La Tour series, combining a flat-sided body with a magnetic-tungsten weight-transfer system: the tungsten weight slides to the rear of the body on the cast for long-distance flight, then locks in place under a powerful belly magnet and weight-hold cup for stable swimming. This listing stocks the 110mm/15.5g slow-floating size (110SF), running on a #6 hook with #2 split rings.

A sharp, flat-sided dart on the retrieve and a slow-floating build that clears snags easily are built to trigger bites, and the body is finished in Duel's scratch- and impact-resistant Power Coat for lasting colour depth. Selected colourways add a clear hologram lip that flashes sunlight on the fall to draw bass from a distance, then settles into a normal clear lip at target depth so as not to spook wary fish; all versions carry a high-strength centre-balance hook built to convert short bites. Casting distance is rated to around 40m, running depth to about 1.5m.

When to throw it

A slow-floating build clears snags easily, suiting jerkbait work around cover and drop-offs where bass are keying on a darting, injured-baitfish profile, running to around 1.5 m. It also works well as a follow-up bait after a more aggressive lure has pulled fish in but failed to draw a solid take.

How to work it

Jerk it in sharp pulls with pauses between to let it sit and dart on the next pull, holding position over cover rather than swimming continuously away. Vary the cadence between casts, since the retrieve that draws strikes can change through the day as fish activity shifts.
