The Eagleplayer 40 Slim/GJ is a 40mm, 1.2g floating minnow from Daysprout, purpose-built for rainbow trout in area lake fishing. It ships with a Yarie ST-10 hook fitted as standard.
Like its 50mm sibling, the body is tuned for a diving-then-rising "guri-guri jerk" action: a controlled dive angle, straight-line tracking on the way down, and a defined rise speed and attitude on the way back up, aimed at triggering reaction bites once fish have gone quiet after stocking.
