Description

The SILVER WOLF SV TW PE SPECIAL (SILVER WOLF SV TW PE SPECIAL) is a chinning-focused baitcasting reel built for thin PE line, combining the T-Wing System (TWS) with a PE-specific SV BOOST spool.

The 1000XHL model (left-hand retrieve) has an 8.5 gear ratio, retrieves 90cm per handle turn, and includes a drag click so anglers can hear the drag working during a fight on thin PE line.

Information

The drivetrain

Combines the T-Wing System with a PE-specific SV BOOST spool, so thin braid pays out cleanly under Daiwa's finesse-casting control rather than digging in or backlashing; this XHL version retrieves left-hand.

What it's built for

Built for chinning-style finesse bass presentations, where a light lure needs to be pitched accurately on thin PE line rather than heavier fluorocarbon or nylon.

How it fishes

The 8.5:1 gear ratio retrieves 90cm per handle turn for fast slack pickup, and the drag click lets the angler hear the drag working during a fight on thin line.

Spools and spares

Pair with a light bass finesse casting rod, thin PE main line around PE0.6-0.8, and a light fluorocarbon leader.
