SEABORG G400J (シーボーグ G400J) is a high-durability version of the SEABORG 400J electric reel, built under Daiwa's "TOUGH LIGHT MONSTER²" concept for electric jigging.

It carries the high-power, high-durability MAGMAX-G motor — rated at 4x the durability of the standard MAGMAX motor, with a 3-year/300km motor warranty — for a responsive, powerful retrieve at a lightweight 600g. Daiwa recommends it for anglers stepping up to larger fish, including electric jigging for species such as albacore, yellowfin tuna and amberjack.

Operation is via Daiwa's JOG POWER LEVER, relocated to the body center in a jog-dial style so retrieve and clutch on/off can be run with one thumb, plus magnetically sealed ball bearings, an aluminum JOG power lever, a thumb-adjustable fall brake dial (spool-free to max brake across a 180° range), and a dot-matrix LCD counter.
