Description

The Daiwa 25KOHGA IC (25紅牙 IC) is a tai-rubber (tairaba) and tai-tenya baitcasting reel built for one-on-one fights with madai.

It shares Daiwa's Hyperdrive Design platform: Hyperdrive DigiGear with a wider gear tooth for smooth rotation under light-to-heavy load, dual ball-bearing Hyper Double Support, a full-aluminum Hyper Armed Housing, a saltwater-resistant Hyper Tough Clutch, an expanded-range ATD drag, Synchro Level Wind, and a three-tone Electronic Drag Sound. The IC counter reads depth in 10cm increments with speed readout and DAIWA CONNECTED smartphone connectivity, backed by a tool-free, waterproof-covered CR2032 battery. A 130mm aluminum crank handle is fitted to cut fatigue on fast retrieves.

Standard weight across the 150 series is 275g, with six gear-ratio options from 4.8:1 to 7.1:1.
