Description

NINJARI Worm is BlueBlue's wind-casting worm, built around a twin single-hook system: two single hooks project from the body so that if one hook point misses, the opposite hook locks the jig head in place for a secured hook-up. The maker built it to solve the poor hook-up rate of conventional wind-casting technique.

The SS size is built for light-game and micro-pattern fishing, recommended for canal-area seabass and chinu (black sea bream), and for shallow areas that are harder to fish with the larger sizes. Sold 6 worms per pack, sized to match your jig head. This listing stocks the colourways listed in this product's variant options.

Information

The swimming action

NINJARI Worm is Blue Blue's wind-casting worm, built around a twin single-hook system: two single hooks project from the body so that if one point misses, the opposite hook locks the jig head in place and secures the hook-up. The action comes from the paired jig head and worm working together rather than the worm alone.

When to throw it

The SS size is built for light-game and micro-pattern fishing, recommended for canal-area seabass and chinu (black sea bream), and for shallow water that is harder to fish effectively with the larger sizes in the range. It suits calm, sheltered marks with cautious, pressured fish.

How to work it

Fish the SS size with a slow, steady wind-casting retrieve through shallow water and canal margins, using a light jig head suited to the size. Its compact profile is built for accuracy in tight, skinny-water situations rather than long-range casting or aggressive jerking.

The setup it likes

Pair with a light seabass or chinu spinning rod, a 2000-2500 size reel, PE0.4-0.8 braid and an 8-10 lb fluorocarbon leader, matched to a light jig head suited to the SS size.
