The Gulp! Saltwater Isome Futomi 4inch is a soft plastic worm-style bait from Berkley's Japan-market Gulp! Saltwater Isome range, built with a thicker ("futomi") body than the standard Isome profile. It is made with Berkley's reformulated Gulp! Formula scent and flavour blend, which Berkley states softened the material's texture and improved catch rates by around 30% in its own testing versus the previous formula.
The bulkier profile is designed for an easy-to-thread, all-round saltwater soft-plastic presentation, with the softer, plumper texture intended to improve how readily fish take the bait and hold onto the hook. It is supplied in six official Berkley colourways, and the bag opens without needing to cut the top off.
