SARYU (サリュー) is ADUSTA's jig head worm, built around casting distance so it reaches surf water other rigs can't. A zinc jig head pairs with a slim, air-resistant trailer worm; work it on a steady retrieve, a lift-and-fall, or a curve-fall. ADUSTA notes the tail can be cut three ways to size the action — pin tail for small, a partial cut for medium, full tail for the widest kick — and names Japanese flounder (hirame) and flathead (magochi) as the reaction-bite targets. Rigged on a BKK Fangs 62-UA #6 hook with a #3 split ring; trailer length is 4.5in.

SARYU pairs a distance-optimised zinc jig head with a slim, low-drag 4.5in worm trailer; the combination is built purely to cast a long way and cut through wind, then track true and shallow on a fast, straight retrieve.

When to throw it

A surf lure for Japanese flounder (hirame) and flathead (magochi), fished from open beaches and surf where casting distance is the main factor in reaching feeding fish.

How to work it

Cast to maximum range and wind back fast and steady to trigger reaction strikes; the head shape keeps the lure running just under the surface even at speed, so there is little need to vary retrieve depth.

The setup it likes

Suits a long (9–11 ft) surf spinning rod, a 4000–5000-size reel loaded with PE 1–1.5 braid and a 20–25 lb fluorocarbon leader.
