The Abu Garcia Mysen 50S -舞閃- (マイセン) is a stream trout minnow from Abu Garcia Japan, built as a sinking model that resists rising in current and suits deep-water presentations.

A fixed tungsten weight gives a stable casting trajectory to the target point, and twitching the lure produces a fluttering, flashing dart action underwater (the name "Mysen / 舞閃" references this dancing-flash movement). The head uses a field-blending base colour with a one-point accent colour for visibility, helping anglers track the lure's position and spot short strikes. It comes standard with BKK hooks.

The Mysen 50S is a sinking stream-trout minnow with a fixed tungsten weight for a stable, accurate cast. Twitched, it produces a fluttering, flashing dart — the fast, dancing movement that gives the lure its name (Mysen, 舞閃, roughly "dancing flash").

When to throw it

Built for native river and stream trout — yamame, iwana and similar species — in deeper pools, current seams and holding water where a lure that resists rising and stays down is needed.

How to work it

Cast upstream or across and work it back with sharp twitch-pause sequences so the dart-and-flutter action stays lively; the sinking design keeps it down in current rather than skating up to the surface.

The setup it likes

Suits a light native-trout stream rod (L power), a small 1000–2000 spinning reel and 3–5 lb fluorocarbon main line, fished direct without a leader.
