The Xesta CATAPULT LIGHT SPEC (カタパルトライトスペック) is an offshore casting rod series built for lighter, more flexible casting games than the standard Catapult line, using Xesta's Torayca T-1100G high-elasticity blanks throughout.

The S611L-J and S66ML-J models are built as dedicated blade-jigging rods with high-strength blanks that absorb vibration while transmitting strike information clearly; the S74L is a jerking model built for minnow work; and the S72ML and S83ML are described by Xesta as multi-blank rods that handle jerking, blade and vibration presentations for species such as trevally and seabass, with the S83ML extending casting distance while keeping the S72ML's operability.
