Description
The VARIVAS Avani Casting PE Protect (アバニ キャスティング PEプロテクト) is a hollow-core PE sleeve that shields the vulnerable knot area of a PE mainline during casting.
Its QTS (Quick Through System) lets anglers thread the main PE line through in seconds without tools, cutting the time and hassle of retying knots. Once fitted, the sleeve reduces wear on the PE line where fingers grip it, and protects the line from damage as it passes through the guides or contacts the rod blank. By smoothing the diameter step between the doubled and single sections of line, it also improves guide pass-through and helps suppress guide tangling and other casting troubles.
Colour: white. Supplied 3 sets per pack. Available in 5, 6, 8 and 10 sizes, rated for approximately 5-8, 6-10, 8-12 and 12-14 PE lines respectively.
