Description

Developed from the theory and experience of angler Keiichirou Iwai, the VARIVAS Tapered Leader "IWI Version FHT" (テーパードリーダーイワイバージョン FHT) uses a Front Heavy Taper (FHT) for turn performance that delivers precise control and presentation. A roughly 2m tippet section enables the long natural drift that is Iwai's signature technique.

The butt section is Flow Yellow for visibility, while the tippet section is a clear natural colour for camouflage. "Smooth Tech Coat" (STC) reduces surface friction and resists water-absorption degradation for improved durability, and "Smart Connect" keeps the connection between fly line and leader compact. Material: nylon monofilament. Length: 16ft.

Available in 4X (tippet 0.165mm / butt 0.46mm), 5X (tippet 0.148mm / butt 0.45mm), 6X (tippet 0.128mm / butt 0.44mm) and 7X (tippet 0.104mm / butt 0.43mm).
