Description

The GS-70 Jigen Grippy 4 Braids Assist is a single assist rig built around the Jigen Hyper (JH-40) hook, whose cylindrical shaft wire helps hold fast under heavy loading rather than splitting the fish's mouth during a long fight. The assist cord is a Jigging Assist Line Fluoro Core (J-FC) rated 120Lb/150Lb with a fluorocarbon core woven into four braids for abrasion resistance, finished with an Assist Ring (A-PR) in size #S/#M and a Blue Shrink Tube (B-ST) in 3.5mm/4.5mm, in a silver finish.

It is purpose-built for large bluefish and middle-size tuna on jigging tackle, with the assist cord carefully coiled onto the ringed eye to resist pulling out over an extended fight.
