The Vanfook GR-71 Jigen Grippy Rear Assist is a short single assist hook built around the JIGEN HYPER (JH-40) hook, tied with 200lb Jigging Assist Line cord to the ringed eye of the JIGEN Grippy for a firm connection that resists pulling loose during a long fight.

Designed as a support hook for the rear of large-silhouette jigs, it targets large bluefish such as Kingfish when high-pitch or combination jerking, and also lets anglers vary a jig's falling speed. Supplied in silver.
